Polymyxin B and trimethoprim ophthalmic combination is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye including conjunctivitis (pinkeye; infection of the membrane that covers the outside of the eyeball and the inside of the eyelid) or blepharoconjunctivitis (infection of the membrane that covers the outside of the

dexamethasone, 6000 IU polymyxin B sulphate, 3500 IU neomycin sulphate (as base)

Adults and children 2 months of age and older—Use one drop in the affected eye(s) every 3 hours for 7 to 10 days. Your doctor may tell you to use the drops more often during severe infections.Children younger than 2 months of age—Use and dose must be determined by your doctor
