Betahistine is diaminoxidase inhibitor - the enzyme inactivating histamine. Stabilizing the histamine which is formed in an organism, betahistine has a histamine-like effect. Drug is effective at peroral taking (by mouth). Drug expands precapillary sphincters of vessels of an inner ear, it improves microcirculation. The main use of betahistine has at Menyer's disease and similar diseases which are followed by dizziness attacks, a sonitus, a hearing impairment, nausea, vomiting. Betahistine 24mg Tablet is used to prevent and treat a disorder of the inner ear known as Ménière’s disease. The symptoms include dizziness (vertigo), ringing in the ears (tinnitus), and loss of hearing, probably caused by fluid in the ear. This medicine helps relieve the symptoms by reducing the amount of fluid.
